Pastoral InternMy Life Story
I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, and was privileged to grow up in a Christian home. As a child, I remember waking up every morning to find my mother reading the Word of God, and crying out to the Lord in prayer. With tears running down her face, she would pray. At the age of six years old, I committed my life Jesus Christ. I remember it as if it were yesterday. My mother knelt by my bedside, as she did every night, and shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with me. In that moment, I realized that I was a sinner in need of a Savior, and in repentance, I turned to Jesus for salvation. I experienced the grace of the Lord Jesus in a very real way, and He sustained me throughout my elementary and high school years. I went on to pursue an undergraduate degree at York University and a Master of Theological Studies at Tyndale Seminary in Toronto. It was during that time that I met my precious wife Aileen, and we were married in December 2006. Since then, we have had the honour of serving the Lord in various capacities as He continued to clarify His calling on our lives. In 2012, the Lord was pleased to bring us to Harvest Bible Chapel, and we have been so blessed to find a home where men and woman love the Lord, love His Word, and are passionate about His glory. We have two beautiful children, Josiah and Abigail, and pray earnestly that they will grow up to know and fear the Lord.
My Hope for Harvest
In John 15:5, Jesus said “I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” My hope for Harvest is that more and more men and woman of all ages, backgrounds and ethnicities would abide in Jesus Christ intimately, treasure Him supremely, and live for Him in humility. Apart from Him, we can do nothing.
