My Life Story
My Child hood was a happy one but one without Jesus Christ. Raised in Catholicism, I had the head knowledge but it did not filter down into my heart. My teenage years were very volatile and rebellious and I was living totally for self. While in high school, I met and three years later married the love of my life, my soul-mate Vinnie, whom I thank God for every day! Together we started a journey whereby the only things that mattered were making money and having a good time. After years of extravagance, it was in God's perfect timing that He got my attention and through a sifting that brought many tears and heartbreak, I came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ... Amen!!
Over the next ten years the Lord pruned, sifted, stretched, tested and held me in the refiners fire, all the while encouraging me, loving me, forgiving me, and teaching me. Over this same ten years I prayed for Vinnie to come to the Lord... and as He is forever faithful, to the glory of God and through His abounding mercy Vinnie came to the Lord December of 2004. Praise God! We were once again truly united before the Lord Jesus Christ.
In September of 2005 I felt God’s hand leading me to leave a position I held for 15 years to join the staff of Harvest Oakville. What an exciting time to be alive! Working here at Harvest is a tremendous honour and a wondrous blessing.
Vinnie and I live in Oakville. We have one daughter, Ashley, who is married to a wonderful man named Christopher. They are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters of their own named Lily and Violet.
It is both Vinnie and my hearts desire to exalt the Lord in all we do and we consider it an outstanding privilege to be involved with the various ministries within the church. We can’t imagine our lives without the Lord Jesus Christ! He is our true friend, a source of strength and encouragement as he walks with us each step of our sanctification. We are truly grateful for what God has done and continues to do in the lives of His children through His word. There are many verses within the Bible that are extremely special to me but there is one
in particular that has had a profound impact on my life and that is... Proverbs
2:1-10.
Hope For Harvest
We serve a God who is the Passover Lamb, the Bearer of our sins, a God who is our High Priest, our Redeemer, the Re-builder of everything broken, our Burden Bearer, our Blessed Hope. He is the Tenderness of Love... Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God. My prayer for Harvest is that we would never lose sight of who Jesus Christ is and what He has done and that we would live our lives to bring glory to God!
