HARVEST YOUTH

Wednesday nights at 7pm -9:00 at Harvest Bible Chapel

"He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does he prospers." Psalm 1:3 We are serious about the great commission of Jesus Christ. Christ has commanded us to go and make disciples, to baptize, and teach – so this is what we are all about. This isn’t just something for you to do while you are in high school. We want to see you loving Jesus and honoring him with your entire life. That’s why a good foundation for a God-honoring life is vital, and that’s where we want to help you. Plant deep roots by the stream of living water and throughout your life, grow much fruit for the glory of God.

What We Are All About:

1. Truth of God learned and lived: 2. Timothy 3: 16-17 all scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for teaching for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

2. You Adoring God: John 4:23 but the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshiper will worship the father in spirit and in truth, for the father is seeking such people.

3. Having community with God’s people: Acts 2:44-45 and all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongs and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need.

We meet as a group Wednesday nights at 7pm -9:00 at Harvest Bible Chapel.

When you arrive please come in through the doors that face Burloak dr.. If you have been in the building before, these are the doors at the bottom of the youth room stairs.
Once inside, come on up to the youth room and hang out until we get things started (about 7:05). If you are coming for your firs time, when you come up stairs we woud like to meet you and get you to just check in with us at our registration desk.

The evening starts with some time hanging out, but then moves through time in God's word, worshiping and in small groups. Our unofficial modo is "we don't mess around, but we have a lot of fun." To fully understand that... you have to come! We take God's word and time spent in it and worshiping Him serious. But we also believe that God made us and made fun and every week, without fail, He allows us to have some fun (we don't always plan it, but it always happens).

The night ends at 9:00 with students ending small groups and lessons and heading back in to the youth room at the top of the stairs. Parents are encouraged to pick their students up by 9:20 (that gives them some time to still hang out, but also get to bed in good time).
