SENIOR'S MINISTRY

Mission:

“Fighting the good fight , finishing the race , keeping the faith...and looking forward to the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to us on that day” (2 Tim 4:7-8)... this is our goal for our Harvest Senior Ministry as we continue to press on to know to Lord more intimately.

Focus:

The focus of this ministry is Jesus Christ! Our desire is to worship, walk and work for Christ as we participate together in some of the following activities...

Creative Hands:

• Mondays at 9:15 AM – the Creative Hands gals meet for a time of fellowship, the Word, and knitting. They are up and running now and will go all year ‘till June.

Men’s Fellowship:

• Thursday mornings at 9:30 AM – Our Senior Men's Fellowship meets each week (except for Agape weeks) for fellowship and coffee, a DVD session, followed by discussion. This runs September through to June.

Mixed Seniors Fellowship:

• Friday mornings at 9:30 AM - Our Senior Men and Ladies meet each week (except for Agape weeks) for fellowship and coffee, a DVD session followed by discussion.  This runs September through to June.

 AGAPE Fellowship and Lunch:

• The first Thursday of each month from October through to May we meet at 10:30 AM for a hymn sing, which is followed by a time of fellowship. This runs through to noon, when a hot meal is provided.  A free will offering is taken. It is open to all seniors in Oakville, Burlington, and Mississauga.
